What college courses do I need to take that will prepare me better for this career?

In many cases a college education isn't required to become a farmer because most of the skill are learned while you are on the job, but it is recommended that you earn a degree in agriculture so that you can better benefit your farm and business. "Some of the courses that a farmer you should take to give him benefits include mathematics and science, other courses such as biology, chemistry, earth science, and botany can also benefit the farmers business" (Ferguson,135). Not only are these classes helpful but there are classes that are based on the farming that you are looking at, whether it be animals or crop to bees or dairy, they have classes for them too.
